Calming Corner also provides ESA Services!
As part of our mental health services, we offer evaluations and documentation for Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) when clinically appropriate.
An ESA can provide valuable emotional comfort to individuals experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, or other mental health challenges. We offer a comprehensive assessment to determine whether an ESA would be a beneficial part of your overall treatment. See service page for more information.
Our Mission
Calming Corner is devoted to the mission of helping others create healthier minds and in turn happier lives. We provide outpatient Telehealth services in the state of New York, to teens and adults ranging from ages 16 and up. We specialize in treating anxiety disorders via use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Our approach is client centered, recognizing the importance of every client's autonomy in their treatment.
Our Vision
Calming Corner’s vision is to assist with the making quality mental health treatment accessible regardless of an individual's gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disability, or socioeconomic status. This also includes engaging in efforts to dismantle the stigma associated with mental health, which can serve as a deterrent for those who have the desire to seek treatment.
Our Goals
To increase access to treatment, through use of tele-health services.
To provide education to members of our community to assist with dismantling the myths and or common misconceptions associated with mental health, as well as to increase awareness. Through education, our hope is that seeking treatment becomes more normalized, thus decreasing the stigma associated with seeking services.

Quality - Calming Corner values quality. We believe treatment should be effective, productive, and safe. Additionally, we believe that treatment should be provided by quality mental health providers who have the licensure and credentials to provide the services in which they are offering.
