In which states does Calming Corner provide services?

Calming Corner only provides services in the state of New York, at this point in time.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Please fill out the contact form, which can be located on the home, services, or contact page of this website. You will then be contacted to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation, to assess needs and see if the services offered at Calming Corner, are a good fit based off of your individual needs.

Does Calming Corner provide services to adolescents?

Calming Corner currently provides services to teens and adults 16 years of age and older.

Does Calming Corner accept my insurance?

Calming Corner is an out-of-network provider. This means:

  • We do not bill insurance directly

  • You pay for sessions up front

  • We provide a superbill you can submit for possible reimbursement or deductible credit

A superbill is a detailed receipt I can provide you after our sessions. It includes the necessary information your insurance company needs if you’d like to request reimbursement for therapy.

Even though Calming Corner may not be in-network with your insurance, some plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network services. You can submit the superbill directly to your insurance provider, and if your plan covers it, they may reimburse you a portion of the session cost.
